Sophia’s 20 years of industry experience has seen her in companies of all sizes, from global conglomerates to boutique accounting firms. Working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments like Nestle, MYOB, and KPMG has helped her forge a steely ambition for results-driven solutions with out-of-the-box-thinking. Her experience in small businesses taught her invaluable relationship-building skills, by facing tough situations head on, but with heart and an open mind. When she’s not busy helping her clients, she’s busy hiking through her bucket list of mountains across Australia and abroad.
BILLIE
In an industry that values numbers above all else, Billie quickly realised that something was missing in that equation: human relationships.
In her early years working in hospitality and the events spaces, Billie learned the importance of building rapport. Those soft skills would prove invaluable when she switched to multinational accounting firms like Deloitte and food delivery giant, Menulog. But that’s not to discount her technical expertise. Software implementation, operations management, and processes automation are just a few of the weapons in her accounting arsenal.
Outside work, Billie can be found perfecting the delicate and delicious art of baking cheesecakes, or creating Instagram content of her cat, who doesn’t seem to enjoy the process as much as Billie does. But at least the little furball gets plenty of treats for it.
